Day 25 (26th October)

Imagen
In the morning, we didn’t do anything. In the afternoon (at 4:00 PM), we strolled through touristy streets and stopped at a few shops to buy souvenirs.  Afterward (at 5:30 PM), we headed to a café called Zoo Café, where we could have a drink in the company of “exotic” animals, such as snakes or lizards, as well as more common ones, like cats or rabbits.  When we left (at 7:00 PM), we went to a supermarket to pick up some groceries, as we were holding a Spanish food workshop at Eliza’s place, where we made an empanada (it was delicious).

Day 24 (25th October)

Imagen
In the morning we slept, and at 2:00 PM we set off.  We went to some thermal baths called Kristályvíz (Úszóiskola) and spent the afternoon there until 7:00 PM. Afterward, we returned home by car, as Eliza’s father had driven us

Day 23 (24th October)

Imagen
In the morning, we stayed at home.   In the afternoon (4:00 PM), we went to visit Fisherman’s Bastion, which offered beautiful views of the city, and Matthias Church.  We took a walk around that area and gradually made our way toward Buda Castle (5:00 PM), where there were also beautiful views.  Once we finished visiting all of that, we returned home.

Day 22 (23rd October)

Imagen
In the morning (at 12 noon), we went to visit the Parliament; it was a national holiday here, so admission to the Parliament and the vast majority of museums was free. However, we weren't actually able to enter the Parliament building because a conference was being held just outside.   Later (at 1:00 PM), we visited the Ethnographic Museum, both inside and out. Inside, there’s a “standard” exhibition, much like in other museums, but on the outside, you can see that the museum features a garden on its sloping roof. Afterward, we headed to Heroes' Square and, finally, to the most beautiful McDonald’s in Budapest: a location that, in the evening, transforms into a party venue.

Day 21 (22nd October)

Imagen
During the morning, we gave a presentation about Spain, Galicia, and our town, Verín, and said goodbye to everyone, as it was our last day of class there.   Afterward, we went to have some pizza (at 4:30 PM) and once we finished, we headed back to the tram station to return home though I ended up having dinner at Eliza’s place with her and Iris.

Day 20 (21st October)

Imagen
In the morning, we went to school, and afterward, we headed straight to a very nice restaurant for lunch with our teacher, Katie (3:00 PM).  Once we finished, we visited the Chain Bridge, the Opera House, part of the Parliament building and the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial. Finally, we went back to the Allee shopping mall to look at a few things.

Day 19 (20th October)

Imagen
In the morning, we went to school.   In the afternoon (4 PM), we went for a walk before heading to a shopping center called Köki, where we bought a few things.  After leaving the mall, we returned home.
